tuesday after class a girl asked me if her eyes deceived her or was i reading a novel through the entirety of statistics, and if so was that some esoteric concentration technique i was using or something. (no, i was bored.)
so today i thought maybe i'd draw instead of reading, and at least make a pretense of listening, like. i mean, actually, i did listen more carefully, while i drew a rather terrifying misshapen portrait of Professor DetDär. and then in the last five minutes, i drew a much more simplistic chibi wax.
since we have a new scanner, you can see her, significant points carefully labelled for easy recognition.

the socks were added later in purple pen, because wax objected to my leaving the feet out. (she still wasn't happy: "it looks like i've got stumps," she explained.)
