Chibi cartoon fic summary of Life on Mars slash

Today my doodling in class led me to making this... sort of... um. Fic plots in 30 seconds sort of thing, except in the form of scribbly chibis (the wall-painting story from yesterday). Yeah, I don't know, but it was a nice way to pass a couple of hours. The dialogue has, of course, been rewritten for brevity and... it's kind of surreal this way, actually...




ETA: It's been brought to my attention that the plot may have lost something in my summarising, so let me clarify about the end of the story that when Sam wakes up, it's to find young Gene there; and Gene's telling him they've been all joyously curtain-shopping for three years before Sam even fell into a coma. Not only that, but Sam's other buddies from 1973 also work with them at the station. Sam ventures to tell him about his memories from 1973 ("You were this giant asshole who liked to beat up witnesses :D". Er, paraphrase) and Gene's all "Well, THANKS," and Sam's like ":(( No you were great! I taught you everything I know and we had an illicit affair! So... how did we get together anyway then?"

Thank you! :D And yeah, wasn't the end nice? Somewhat improbable but kind of awesome. The author could have really made it work better with more emphasis on the weirdness and less on the earnestness of their anxiety to be suddenly (and inexplicably) verbally sensitive and demonstrative of their psychologically healthy love and all. (Actual dialogue was something like, "Don't you remember me?" "I remember you, and I remember that I love you, but I'm confused about the rest!")
