See, it's the shoulders that are the really god aweful thing about that dress. "Looks like a disco ball" I can actually handle, because yes, it's totally silly and ridiculous, but sometimes that works. But those shoulder things are horrid.

Yeah. Well, I mean, I'm not actually onboard with disco ball dresses, myself, but I'm willing to acknowledge them as a valid lifestyle choice in some circumstances, just like other things that I find unaesthetic through too much one-note SPARKLE. But the shoulders are weird, pointless and just plain ugly. I can go with ugly but useful, or useless but pretty, but useless AND ugly? no.
