  1. Meet Jay Welling. He's married to a very rich man, living in a beautiful home. To the outside world he appears to be a withdrawn but sweet young man. To his husband, he's a prize. But deep down inside there's more to Jay, and 'they' are coming out. When Jensen meets the beguiling young man, he's not sure what to think- but he knows he wants him.

  2. Jared is about to get the shock of a lifetime, a stepfather his own age. The reason why is a mystery but he knows for a fact it's not a love match.

  3. Jensen is a bartender who has the shit luck of falling for a married man, or the cocktail waitress who ended Jared and Sandy's fabulous marriage.

  4. Jared stopped trying to fit all the broken pieces of himself back together a long time ago. But then he meets Jensen, and he thinks it might be time to try again. - Multiple personalities from Jared! Med student Jen/Psych Student Jay

  5. Jared Padalecki, actor, no stranger to tragedy and loss, inherits a run down castle in the wilds of Scotland. Garvald Castle. On the edge of a breakdown he leaves all he knows in LA and goes to this new country to hide. Jensen Ackles, designer and writer, driven to Scotland from his home country some ten years before, takes an interest in the stories of the Ghost of Garvald Mains. Will either survive when the ghost becomes something more than a story? [The weird thing is that I'm nearly positive I've read this story already in an ooooooold classic The Professionals AU that was also set in Scotland, even though Bodie and Doyle are British, not Scottish, and they do actually have castles in England as well. So I have to wonder, now, if there's a whole subgenre of the modern gothic/ romance thriller genre dedicated to inheriting haunted Scottish castles? Not that the existence of such a genre would be surprising. In fact, my main reaction is 'Why isn't this a bigger fandom cliché? GET ON THAT, FANDOM.]

i wonder if jensen is actually a woman in this story, or if the author doesn't realise "waitress" is kind of gender-specific.

Why has this fandom got such a hard-on for mental institutions?
