applesauce and chicken... ew.

so dreamed my mom was teaching an art class and what i had to do was help her. we were making applesauce into ceramics. we had these little hollow ceramic things which had been shattered and were putting applesauce in them and around the edges. then pressing them together; the applesauce worked like glue. then dropping them in boiling water, which would "bake" the applesauce and turn it into ceramic. but there was also a chicken in the pot, and the chicken absorbed the ceramic things. my mom couldn't find them, but i pointed out that they were visible through the chicken by virtue of being bright blue. so we had to cut them out, and then break them open, but the applesauce inside wasn't completely solidified and my mom cut her hand on the shards. :(

then dreamed that i coaxed a nurse into confessing that she had tried to kill the dr. who supervised her by hitting him on the head with a rock. he had been tied into his bed in a fake coma using little groups of four plastic strands (rather like a violin), but we had cleverly neglected to tie them and he'd snuck around to the window, so when she confessed (huddled pitifully in my arms) he burst through a hitherto-hidden door and grabbed her and arrested her.

why can't i have normal dreams?

the fact of the matter is, dear Morgie-Porgie, that NO one has normal dreams, and anyone who says they do is lying . . . either that, or THEY're not normal.
