In other news, my mother-in-law borrowed Alice i Underlandet och Alice i Spegellandet from me, which a good knowledge of Old English or another Germanic tongue will probably tell you is Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking-Glass in Swedish. (I bought it for Carmela, but when I tried to read it to her her attention wandered after 5 minutes. I didn't think she was too young at 5 - I certainly had had it read to me by then, as well as several other children's books such as Talking to Dragons at 3 - and I was reading the Babysitter's Club books to myself at 6; but I guess... everyone's different.)
