For those of you who don't care about bandom: this post is about bandom.
So theREALLY hardcore pot-head "retro" half of Panic was Ryan Ross and his wingman Jon Walker. Apparently this is the first leak of their stuff? The first thing I've heard about it anyway. And okay, first of all, they've named themselves The Young Veins. Ahahaha. And here is their leaked tune, which is provocatively called "Change":

...and yes, that is Ryan Ross singing. But while it's a pity he can't sing, it sort of seems to fit. After a few bars, I said "But the Beatles already existed!" (Also "Didn't they 'do' the Beatles on the last album?"). But then I heard the rest. It's more the lovechild of the Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel, really.
