Okay, so, I've torn myself away from Gaga and la Lambert a little bit to listen to several other long-awaited new CDs: Shakira's She Wolf, Nelly Furtado's Spanish Mi Plan and Kent's Röd (Swedish).
Both of the first two have a single standout track that's by far my favorite (although almost every track on Mi Plan is 5-star, while I'm overall pretty disappointed in Shakira, but I'm aware this is a consequence of her moving towards a kind of sound I generally don't like; I didn't like Oral Fixation 2 much, but I was heartened because of how much I loved the Love in the Time of Cholera tracks).
Here is Shakira ft Wyclef Jean, "Spy".
waxjism loves this track too, by the way, even though she hated "Hips Don't Lie" (I loved them both).
And here is the catchiest track from Mi Plan, "Bajo Otra Luz" ft Julieta Venegas and La Mala Rodriguez (though it's a close race against "Manos al Aire" and "Fantasmas"):
As for Kent, it's really hard, but I'm going to go with "Hjärta" (also can I just say, "Töntarna (The Dorks)" and "Idioten (The Idiot)" in the same album? LOL):
