The apple of my OS eye is the Gnome panel app that animates my desktop into a slideshow with a new one every 8 minutes. So of course I downloaded a ton of beautiful nature desktops and then I had to make icons of them.

Where did you get the original desktops? Many would be good puzzles, you see ...

I used Google! With a number of different keyword combinations. Also KDE-look.org, gnome-look.org, and linuxmint-art.org.
