I read that top one and no matter how bad it is, it doesn't compare to the fact that in it Watson -purportedly English, living in London- asked for tea and cream. Cream! In tea!

And then theres: “Do you have any tranquillizers you can shoot me with?” John asks as he stares at the door. “Or cyanide. Cyanide and Twinings will work.”

Twinings is a brand with multiple types of tea! That makes no sense! Cyanide and Earl Grey, cyanide and lapsang, cyanide and ceylon, sure. Cyanide and Tetley's or PG Tips or Clipper, that all makes sense! Cyanide and Twinings does not.

Bottom line, people should not use tea in fic if they can't be trusted with it.

LOLOL and you know, it's not like we don't have Twinings in America! I grew up on Twinings Earl Grey and Darjeeling - my dad used them to make sun-brewed iced tea all summer, every summer!
