Exquisitely beautiful (and correspondingly expensive) heels by Poetic Licence

I went through some sadness pangs about these being out of my price range, but my principles about how much money shoes are worth are fairly firm (I'm not going to pay 80 bucks for something pretty that I'd wear like, twice).

See, I would pay that much for them...if the heels were only 1" shorter. I LOVE the "spring blooms" shoes! Goregous!

I suppose we all have our price ranges. Possibly if I worked in a professional field I would be willing to spend more on frivolous shoes, but then again, I'm antisocial (like, I literally dislike parties and large festive gatherings) so unlikely to get much wear out of party clothes.

On the other hand, I don't think the heels are wrong on "Spring Blooms" - on the contrary, I think they are elegant and proportional, whereas the heels are a bit too high for true elegance on both the lower pairs. They would probably have to be a bit thicker for me to stand on them with any stability though.

Sometimes I see shoes and wish I was the sort of person who would wear them.

You mean like wish you had the guts, or wish you had the occasion to do so?

Nah, I mean, I like the shoes, but the warddrobe that would make sense of them doesn't do it for me.
