Saw Adam Lambert yesterday as scheduled. As usual, I took pictures because my wife is bad at it, even though she's the one with obsessive monofannish Adam zeal. The record label had stupidly scheduled a signing inside Stockmann department store. Wax stood in line over 2 hours (this was joining a party already well advanced in the line - their position was inside the makeup department, and there were hundreds more around several corners and out into the street around the block) for a 2-second signature. For the Arrival I was on the second floor, sitting behind a display of men's clothes on a balcony and reading a PG Wodehouse book, and snapped this shot of the main crowd (in super high-definition to give a sense of scale). There was no time in between queuing there and at the theater where X-factor was filmed to get proper food. I had not counted on going to the one place in Finland with decent food only to fill up on €3 worth of croissants from the bakery plus one order of French fries.
