Yes, I always keep an eye out for truly unique ones. Knowing Steve Madden, it's probably actually a knockoff of a design I'm unfamiliar with from some very high-end catwalk designer, but they certainly LOOK unique (and memorable!).

You are BAD FOR ME. I keep thinking about buying the Adeson boots. And, seriously, what would I DO with them? But, but. So gorgeous. *eyes wistfully*

They're probably not inconvenient. I mean, they look like you could walk or run in them and wear them with jeans or skirts... of course you wouldn't need them, but they wouldn't be hard to wear unless your whole wardrobe is black, I suppose. Or if it's raining all the time, since they're suede.

I wear a lot of black. (I also wear a lot of black and brown together. I know I shouldn't, but I like the way it looks.) And I don't need boots. I live in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, for god's sake, and I'm a mother of a toddler.
