Herbin Diabolo Menthe fountain pen ink in Platinum Preppy 05 Medium fountain pen, on Clairefontaine paper. Also used: brush and C-0 dip pen nib.


This ink is obviously too light for ordinary writing. Even in a broad nib it can by trying to read, though it’s probably an acceptable accent color in this current pen. However, it really shines in a broad italic nib, as seen in the title.

Thanks for your series of posts on inks. I knew pretty much nothing about them before, but now I could almost follow a conversation. Heh. Also, I like your handwriting styles. Your ink shading in art is v. cool - I have always liked monotone art.
