Well, remember how since being outsourced to my favorite supermarket our postal service has become a garbage fire?
Remember how in addition to losing packages and fudging rules and paperwork, they delivered
waxjism's blu-ray of Call Me by Your Name about twenty days later than expected, with the result that she had already registered it as a no-show with the store that sent it?
WELL, it's now been 20 days since the store sent the replacement blu-ray and it has also never shown up (though the belated first one has been here for a couple weeks). Remember that packages from the UK typically take 2-4 days, with about 90% arriving within 2 business weeks, so basically: they've lost this one too.

Date: 4 Apr 2018 03:34 pm (UTC)There was a time when my local post office was corrupt (lost packages, closed frequently without warning, withheld mail because they didn't like the one who asked), and was allowed to stay that way because the manager was married to the one who inspected them. Eventually complaints reached a political level too high to block, the inspector and manager lost their jobs, and the mail became reliable again.
If your problem is smaller than country-wide, it might be possible to use the same strategy. If not, my sympathies, bad mail service is extremely annoying.
