I really wish I were better at trimming angora wool evenly off of an irritable, potentially nervous live bunny that is sitting in my lap with the aid of a pair of tiny round-tipped scissors. But I guess one can't have everything.

Fortunately, when these bunnies are annoyed, they mostly just paw the ground in front of their feet and growl. (Although his brother did nip. Not hard, fortunately.)

Yes, I'm pretty lazy about harvesting the wool because it has to be combed out, but it's good quality (albeit smaller quantity!) compared to a full-sized angora rabbit, and I've actually sent a fair bit of it to my sister who has a spinning wheel to make into yarn! He produces it faster than you can comb it off, basically. I shudder to think how much brushing the big ones take.

This bunny, though adorably fluffy, does not look impressed!

It's fair to say that he is moderately miffed in these pictures... although in fact I think this face is demonstrating intense suspicion.
