I finished this at 2:30 am and rendered myself too sleepy to do anything this morning except drink tea and nap.

I highly recommend weaving in the ends as you go with stripes, something I just tried for the first time with this project: this is the first time I didn't end up cursing my grandparents for giving birth to my parents while finishing up a striped project.

Congratulations! The colors are beautifully brilliant and weaving in as you go is very very smart. I have fifty plus strands to weave in and am just Not Thinking about them on my blanket. The size of your blanket is huge or your bunny has shrunk.

LOL. It's about the length of a twin duvet but not as wide - top of the bed to the bottom so, what's that, about 6 feet long and 125 cm wide.

The bunny is a single handful though, and weighs only 1,1 kg!

Thanks! I haven't given them their second chance yet! I'm waiting for sunbeams to be on my side, so they'll want to hold still. 😆

It looks fabulous! Sorry your models didn't want to cooperate. It looks knitted, did you use a pattern?

The link in the post leads to my public Ravelry project page and the stitch pattern is discussed there. Of course it's a very basic shape, so the real issue that a pattern clarifies is gauge (how big the zigs and zags are going to be given a certain range of yarn), although of course you could also substitute different increases and decreases to achieve a similar effect in general. The stripe layout is my own.

Awesome, thank you! And I love the stripes but don't quite have the eye for color that you do... mine would have to be (at most) two colors. :)

LOL, well, you can always take a look at other people's projects, choose one you like, and just buy the same colors and copy them! A lot of stripe patterns have color palettes built in, too.

Every pattern has a "projects" gallery and you can filter it to only finished ones or only liked ones and then with the advanced search button you can also sort it by most likes or a number of other qualities.
