I was reorganizing the notes on my phone this morning and discovered these snippets I've been saving for over a year now. Unintended meanings or mental images resulting from word substitutions and typos are some of my favorite diversions in reading, and I greatly enjoy collecting them. Some of them are too good to just text to my bff and then let them fade away out of history.

22. the sound of a familiar gate

24. and compiles his dirty laundry

26. gesturing animatedly with his cleaver hands

28. hands are cowered in flower

30. his posture was becoming less ridged with each glass of wine

35. can be rather tacky-turn

40. failing miserably at seeming causal
