cimoreneI think I overestimated how mentally healthy I was feeling a few weeks ago out of a combination of being (1) definitely better than Wax, (2) not overwhelmed with sadness or self-loathing, (3) not completely energyless.
But I definitely don't seem to have much executive function, or any, left over after preparing dinners and feeding two problematic specialty-diet cats regularly. I keep forgetting to eat my lunch, or half of breakfast, or both.
I have been coping by staying mentally far away from reality using a variety of fannish fixations, and that has been working in the sense of 'no nervous breakdowns', but on the other hand, to keep this up I have to stay... probably too far from reality. An inconvenient distance from it, let's say.
