For the first time ever, the laundromat was CROWDED today and there was a queue for the two dryers, which has literally never happened before: once one of the dryers was out of order and we had to wait a couple of minutes for the other one, but today there were two people with shopping carts full of wet laundry hanging around in there.
It's 2 days before Christmas Eve, which is the main day of celebration here, sure, but... how is right before Christmas a rush for laundromats? Sure, like, the rug machines and things that you can't wash at home, but are these people who don't do laundry the rest of the year? The supermarket was in general really crowded though, which was very unusual, particularly for a Sunday evening, when we're used to having the store nearly empty. Yuck, crowds.
So rather than wait an hour we just took all our wet laundry home and hung it up in front of fans again on three laundry racks and I hate that. Also now after all those people I feel like I want a hot bath (but the house doesn't even have a bathtub) and to take a nap and I definitely don't feel like I have enough energy to make dinner, even though I was gonna make soup.
WILL I EVER USE WASHY THE WASHING MACHINE AGAIN???? ๐ญ
It's the first night of Hanukka but I'm not sure where any of our candles are at all and I haven't bought the rest of the Christmas presents either (and neither has Wax, who has probably forgotten they're a thing).
