home office day 1
24 Mar 2020 09:13 pmFirst day of
waxjism working from home. Even with the door closed, I can hear her end of the conversation if there's not water running or if I'm not at the computer with some other noise. I heard her end of a conversation that almost broke her composure with an Angry Man who was Totally Calling the Police if he didn't get what he wanted, and had to be told like 4 times that he would have to call a different company to complain because this one doesn't have the literal capability to do what he wants. Then I heard another one who couldn't understand that you need the CODE in order to get the discount for a discount code promotion.
This was also the first day the BB felt well enough after her sick spell to run around and play! She chose to run into the temporary office and jump up onto the wall-mounted shelves and had to be shut out of there. And Snookums must have got a wild hair, because he jumped the barrier and explored the cold side of the house, and I had to go retrieve him and then took him outside on his leash, thinking it was about 10 degrees too cold for him and that would cure his wanderlust, but he stuck it out maybe ten minutes and then asked to go outside again an hour or so later.
The bunnies seem totally unconcerned about recorder playing now, which of course is good because I don't want to distress them, and not the least bit disappointing because they were funny. Snookums only complained once, but the BB came and had words with me several times. I think she wanted attention as opposed to the noise to stop though.
