this pillow is big enough for two cats to share, but they still fight over it at least 2x a day ofc

When I make the bed and open the curtains I put the squishy pillow in the middle of the edge of the bed so that it has a view across the street.



Yesterday the bed wasn't made and Snookums came and got Wax to demand she make it and as soon as she put the pillow there he happily curled up on it and fell asleep. (The curtain was open, he just didn't want to sit there without the pillow.)

I love how they have their little preferences and habits. And how it changes. For weeks this place will be someone's favorite spot and then suddenly they've discovered somewhere else and that will be their new favorite spot. Or how they seem to have routines and prefer one spot in the morning, another spot midday, a third spot at night (not necessarily based on where the sun is but that does have an impact).

Yes, ours do that a lot and it's so cute. He has a cat bed by the radiator that he used to prefer, but presumably the fact that it's not cold now and the view out the window have swayed him!
