Snookums being a little gargoyle

We haven't seen the kitties all day, except when they were eating. They both spent the whole day snuggling together on the mattress against the dining room radiator. This is after they spent a long time playing this morning by running around the house and up and down the stairs at top speed, bouncing off the walls, jumping on our heads and internal organs and yelling like souls in torment.

No, usually when they're playing we only see little bits of them as they go streaking by. They are extra het up when they're bouncing on top of us. And also they usually spend at least half the day or all of it on our laps, so it's quite unusual for them to be in the other room the whole time.

Cornish rexes are elegant through selective breeding, which obviously brought my mind to the hilarious idea of selective breeding of real gargoyles...
