This is a classic fic with a classic plot: the accidental discovery of artsy erotic photography, the obsessive thoughts leading to questioning his identity/jerking off, the other guy being louche and breezily amused about the whole thing. In some respects it's a good fit for this fandom, in others perhaps a bit awkward - Duncan predating modern sexual orientation and subtractive masculinity for example. But the execution is note-perfect and this particular example of the trope is a standout in my memory.
