Now that you mention it, the first one is the only one I'm not sure how to illustrate... well, epitaphs could be challenging, but I think would be possible: maybe like miniature gravestones would work. But I'm not sure what "to temp oneself" would actually mean (to take a job as a temp worker as yourself???)

A string of epitaphs! I pictured this in cartoon style, and instead of a string of mixed #%$##%^&*# symbols coming from the character there was a little row of mixed tombstones. :D

I believe the appropriate phrase here is, "I'm too Homestuck for this." :P 'Beyond the Pail' is definitely an Alternian porno title!

It sounds more like, idk, an academic article ABOUT Alternian erotica or sexual practices. Possibly a newsletter or affinity group name for a (relatively mild) kink.
