Neurological nightmare

cimoreneSnookums woke me at 2:30 with low blood sugar, and then after a while of feeding him yogurt and cheese and honey, he got worse instead of better. At 3:20 he started having neuro symptoms - walking around in a little clockwise circle, not reacting to us, apparently couldn't see? - and kept it up like 20 minutes.
We eventually drove about 50 minutes to the emergency vet hospital on the other side of Turku, because it kept going and we figured we would be up watching him anyway, but he was back to normal by the time we got there. We barely got out of the vet by 6:00 and Wax had to work at 7:30. I got to nap till 9, but she didn't get any more sleep.
We're going to talk to the regular vet about his blood sugar, but they can't tell us more about the neuro symptoms really without an MRI. They definitely aren't connected to diabetes. Could be small strokes, a tumor, or something else, according to the emergency vet. So we're just gonna monitor. Right now he seems tired but normal (like us).
