Instead of a drought like last summer it's been raining steadily the whole time so... we emptied the septic tank in October last year but it's already overflowing in the garage. Which it started Friday evening, for fun!

So our lovely tenants in the other half of the house - the Ukrainian family - don't have working drains this weekend, since we can't get it emptied till next week. So we just spent a couple of hours frantically cleaning the bathrooms (and the hall, and the porch) so they can use ours this weekend. 😩
