I posted about cutting all my hair off - buzzing it off, really, because I was using the trimmer, although most of it is still over 1cm long - but I didn't post any pictures at the time. Since then I did manage to go back with the trimmer and more time and even it out to my satisfaction, and then it's also had a few weeks to grow out since then.

The last time I got so many compliments on a haircut was when I switched back from Manic Panic because I decided not to torture my scalp with peroxide anymore, and I cut my hair - a bleach-fried layered bob with grown-out roots and faded color - and dyed the remaining orangey bleach bits back to brown. The reaction was probably mostly to the disappearance of the faded bleached bits with the long dark roots, which made for a dramatic change.

I do like this, and I had lots of fun, although the quantity of compliments has been a surprise! But I will be avoiding hair this short in back for the colder months in future, though. The back of my head and behind my ears keep getting cold (hence the headband).
