My new bank card is here too, and it works! And it's prettier than my old one. I'm not getting rid of the old one until after my next paycheck has gone to the new account, just to make sure that all goes smoothly, though.
The slush has frozen into sheets of smooth and bumpy ice everywhere and there was sleet and a cutting wind today, but it's back up over freezing to really drive home the promise that it will melt soon and refreeze even smoother and slipperier.
The recycling hasn't been emptied at work since September. I can contact the caretakers about this, or keep stockpiling paper recycling, or just start throwing it away. I guess we'll see how I feel tomorrow.
