Você conhece pão de alho? É um tipo de pão típico de churrasco brasileiro. Aqui eles costumam ter versões recheadas com queijo, frango desfiado ou tomate. Eu gosto de todas essas três e a original sem recheio. No entanto esses são pães prontos, que assamos no churrasco e não totalmente um pão de tomate como deve ter sido este que você provou então não sei se o sabor seria parecido. Mas já comi pão de cebola, de cenoura, de beterraba, de batata, de mandioca e gostei de todos (o de cebola nem tanto porque já comi uns bons e outros nem tanto).

Stuffed bread sounds really good but the middle part is probably a lot juicier that way! I don't know exactly how this bread was made, but the tomato seems to have been distributed throughout the other ingredients before it was baked. It has a pretty normal white bread texture and the flavor is a bit more subtle than, for example, focaccia with whole tomatoes on the top.

I have heard of this and probably tried it in the distant past. No clear memory though.

I've never made it myself, but when I ate it this time I was able to remember that I've tried it before. The flavor is recognizable, but sort of different.

I'm imagining a sort of uniformish pinkness, but I guess you'd have to puree the tomatoes to get that.

There are pieces in this bread, but there's prolly puree or tomato water too going by the flavor. It's nice but it sort of tastes tomato and not.
