Have to say, I just don't get it. Went and read the thread; sounded to me like you were just saying you had personal qualms about slashing Sean A. and are happy to have found a pairing that doesn't involve that. Your prerogative, yes? Not like you were saying anyone that does do that is Evil and should be cast into the pits of Hell. -blink- Sounds like Paula K. had a bit much caffeine this morning, or something.

I don't feel comfy even reading SeanA/Lij. Breaking up a marriage fictionally feels too close to the real thing for me.

Paula K sounds like she's wearing the Incredible Shrinking Underpants. Definitely needs to remove them & start thinking rationally.

Want to explain my feelings about Burn, as they're confused/conflicted: I didn't want Lij & Sean to go through so much pain, but at the same time needed them to suffer as if to make up for the terrible wrong of getting rid of Christine. Elijah's fifteen years felt to me like a necessary purgatory that he had to serve so I, the reader, could approve the relationship. The characters needed to pay in blood for what they were doing, because the nature of rps means that actual, not fictional relationships must be discarded to make way for theirs.
