finished the next four eps of six feet under half an hour too late. that half an hour represents my parents wandering around doing nothing as opposed to sitting down to eat dinner--which COULD have happened at any time as it was just leftovers. so now we'll have to go to blockbuster tomorrow. i think there are five dvds in the season, but it might be six. anyway, we can probably finish them by the end of the week and start on the rest of qaf, which they have at movie gallery.

mom wants to boycott blockbuster, because of their wacky fees and exorbitant fines, and the fact that what they call a two day rental is due 'noon of the third day,' only they count the day you rent it as the first day, no matter when you do so. we rented it at 5 o'clock sunday, and by their reckoning, when we left the store with it, we had already had it twenty-nine hours.
