better than fanfic? a battle report of some fierce and fast confrontations between scale model tanks built on little red wagons. they fire paint balls.
no, i'm not joking! and i didn't get the link from news of the weird, either!
in OTHER wtf news, i just re-organized all of my bookmarks into folders and some of the folders are sadly bare. i need to go bookmark all those main fic archives and whatnot. sort of a complacent 'whoa.' like the placidly evil narcissa malfoy whom i <3 ever so much from that fic i read yesterday via a link from
camillafarfalla.
edit. hahah! but this is from news of the weird: Scientists at the University of Southern California will soon begin testing an artificial brain prosthesis (a silicon chip that mimics the hippocampus), which, if successful, can help people who cannot store future and recent memories of their experiences. One problem with the project (according to a March story in New Scientist): Subjects might not remember anything about the research or consenting to participate in it.
