stupid incomprehensible cell phone.

mom wanted us both to have cell phones. the one she bought me is way cute and does way more things than hers does (a foldy white and lilac one--here). unfortunately, perhaps, one of those things is text messaging and since we got it (or more accurately since about an hour after the fact) i've gotten about ten of what i believe are text messages. they'll go 'NEW MESSAGE' and then the message will look something like

A1LADJsfghsKFYOJNH6Mas556J3HBB66606fgg5MKFH,

only for five lines or so. now, i believe we actually get charged for each one of these as it comes in. some kind of spam? i remember reading something about that. the obvious course is to call them and ask, but you probably can't comprehend how much i want to do that. i hate calling people. and i hate that i can't figure it out. i incidentally also can't figure out how to send text messages. i wonder if this is how my mom feels with computers.

does the browser just let you go anywhere on the net?

yep. ummm... they should've given that to you when you signed up, though. mine is dbaker123@sprintpcs.com, so yours should be something similar. the browser is really crappy, it doesnt show images and stuff. i wouldnt recommend using it for serious surfing, especially on image-heavy sites. i made a text-only style, and i made the preview for it as a bookmark, that way i can read my friends list. thats all i use it for, really. *shrug*
