cimorenefixing the links to killashandra and friends--in the star trek part of my recs page, killa herself and syn ferguson, specifically, but elynross is there too. someone e-mailed me the new link out of nowhere, which i call quite nice of them. i have the memory that there were some more hp stories for me to go through before i uploaded the most recent update to my recs page, only now i can't remember where. d'oh.
and i dreamt about being in a kind of antique store, i guess it was, inside some sort of giant complex connected to other places with those high-up enclosed air-conditioned walkways. they had a little bookshelf with two giant volumes of she-ra comics. if only!
last night's experiment in pizza-making was, by the way, not an unqualified success. 13 minutes at 475 (and our oven overheats, just a bit) didn't melt the feta, but instead sort of turned it solid and rubbery, like small, mostly-cubical super bouncy balls. you may say something like 'you mean you didn't know that feta rubberizes instead of melting?' in the first place, no. and in the second place, the recipe said to cook the damned thing '8 minutes or until the cheese melts.' and there was no other variety of cheese.
fry me in butter and call me a catfish (where did that come from? raffi? the elephant show?)
