Dear people who have me friended:

It's come to my attention that someone who prefers not to use names even though everyone knows who she's talking about has posted saying that she's going to start trimming her friends list, and prime targets for the ax are going to be people who have friended any or all of Three Certain People who need to grow up and stop engaging in behavior that most people outgrew in middle school. I have no way of knowing for sure that I'm one of those people, but information suggests that it's me (mirabellawotr), cimorene111, and ninglor.

I wouldn't be posting in response to this ordinarily, but you do have me friended, and I take that seriously. So: if you're worried about this, don't be. If you feel like you need to unfriend me so you can stay on her friends list, go for it - no hard feelings and no harm done, and I hope you'll still stop by from time to time.

It might be worth thinking about, however, that it wasn't us "middle schoolers" who told you that you couldn't be friends with the prom queen anymore if you insisted on talking to the snarky bitches at the back of the class.

1. last summer, ninglor posted an unflattering anonymous review of daisy_gamgee's story thou. this was partly in response to daisy's posting of some chapters of rapefic without warnings.

2. andraste_oz traced her ip address to expose her.

3. daisy_gamgee and her minions attacked ninglor. mass de-friending occurred of all three. daisy kept posting wankful things and deleting her entries again.

4. i posted her to fandom_wank, which was then on lj.

5. mirabellawotr posted a rant about daisy and pissed her off.

6. in my journal, thechaosdiva (now deleted) said she'd like to burn daisy (not thou, in reference to a poem daisy posted about people who wanted to 'throw' her story 'into the flames'). daisy came by and demanded an explanation. she preached at claire. i interceded and pointed out that she was being hypocritical and impolite and criticized her logic.

7. a few weeks ago, she uploaded with much fanfare the rapefic chapters and implied people who didn't like the lack of warnings were immature. i posted her to fandom_wank again.

well, i am opposed to fandom_wank on principle [those mainly being 'i don't understand it' and 'it never seems to lead to anything but trouble'], but i'm going to side with you on this one. because i like you better, and because i don't like rape fic. i mean, thatever floats your boat, but not without warnings.

well, thank you. :) indeed, that's my feeling. it's my understanding that the story in question is truly horrendous badfic. the plot outline and some snippets i've seen are enough to prevent my actually reading it.
