the gender genie correctly predicted that i was female on the basis of only logical, cat and mouse, time, and two wishes! hnnh. i wanted to fool it. boo.

i've run a few things through the gender genie, and gotten some odd results: my journal entries are mostly female, and my fiction is mostly male. go figure.

i thought i might be able to fool it so i tried the stories that i thought of as most 'male'--but no go. my use of female things (like possessives! go figure) is pretty high. le sigh.

i wonder why women use possessives more often than men? the differences between "male" and "female" prose seemed very weird to me.

but the gender genie seems to be accurate for most people, so i guess there's soemthing to it.
