announcement thingy: the way things are

daddy made it back into town and is about two blocks away at a rather cramped and musty-smelling hotel with beds that aren't really handicapped-accessible. the first time we can look at three-bedroom apartments is next week. when lillian tentatively tried to find out from mom whether we could all go see potc tomorrow (requires calling for a big wheelchair van to pick dad up) mom said "i'm writing lesson plans and you're cleaning the house"--not promising. well, we'll see. daddy can't get into this house; the room is miniscule, though it may gain a computer soon. i'm to be with daddy during the day when mommy is at school, and after we move into the apartment that will be at home, but in the meanwhile it looks like it may mean no internet for the majority of each day.

You are a lovely person and a generous soul to take such good care of your daddy. Reading your adventures at the con, he sounds like a great guy. I miss mine a lot, though it's been nine years since he died.

i don't know what i'd do if he'd died. i'm far too much a daddy's girl--too spoilt, too dependant in more ways than one. he's my best friend.
