so i've been THINKING OF going to bed for just over two hours.

i'll be up early tomorrow and at therapy with da-ji.

yesterday, on the phone, our adjustor reduced mom to tears (and to hanging up and turning the cell off) by refusing to rent a three-bedroom apartment for us while they dither over modifying the house. she maintains they are concerned only about daddy's welfare and not his family's. he needs one to sleep in, one to computer in--that's it. and no, he doesn't need his family around him, but would probably be better off without us around him. he is receiving excellent care. (she's never met us, or his care, in person. we're having to train each attendant in how to do everything; they don't even know what the pieces of equipment are called. we're afraid to leave him alone with them for any extended time since should an emergency occur, they have demonstrated they don't know what to do.) that fucking bitch.

i got the check that will enable me to buy a ticket to toronto.
