metaquotes comes the self-narrated story of a chipmunk's passing.
it was a day like any other - i supped on nuts and berries. i greeted my neighbors by smelling their odorous rectii. i observed the verdant giants above me, their oaken majesty dwarfing my already diminutive stature.
i walked long and long, as my folk are wont to do. we wander, we chitter, we make cute faces, we transmit rabies to unwitting toddlers.
