i trimmed my hair today. or actually, yesterday. it made all the difference!

eta: you know, i think this may be one of the best stories i've ever written. and it came all spur-of-the-moment in a single evening. it's just not fair, you know? and it's not very long, and it's not one of my prized or beloved fandoms, it's just this one-off, 'writemewriteme' kinda thing. hmpf.
