you know, i want to say shakespeare, but am not positive--although it was in a jeeves & wooster story, the answer, i mean. i was thinking of sherlock holmes. in 'the empty house' he sneaks watson out and through some alleys and up into a room, and says something like, 'look out that window. ... [smirk] i trust, watson, that time does not wither nor custom stale my infinite variety.' watson's like 'ohmigod! eek! wtf!' (uh, paraphrase.)

if you really HAVE three kids someday you will have to call one penguin, at least for a nickname, you know. (i'd hold out for immortal penguin but i'm guessing you wouldn't be that mean to a kid.)

it'd be one of those kids whose name gets printed in the paper and people start giggling and go, 'whose parents would be that mean?'
