Date: 28 Apr 2004 04:50 pm (UTC)it's REALLY bad music they play at our store, in general, but i'd kinda like to hear the whole thing and get that one hook out of my head. today was high school flashback day. we got 'mm bop' by hanson, 'back here baby' by bb mak and quite a lot of other poor second rate pop... not to mention 'opposites attract' by, um... eighties, not high school... paula abdul. ::shudder::

(Shh, dirty little secret time, I like Celine Dion so I'd be happy to put a copy up if you need to get it out of your head. I also have the Cyndi Lauper version, although since her voice isn't as strong the Celine verion works a bit better.)

Date: 30 Apr 2004 02:46 am (UTC)Songs you might recognise: Oh, Pretty Woman, Only The Lonely (hee, both are now film titles, and the films, I think, feature the songs), You Got It (later covered by The Pretenders. Or Chrissie Hynde, either or), In Dreams.
And he was in The Travelling Wilburys with George Harrison. Roy was cool even though he had a wobbly high-pitched voice.
