cimoreneearly this afternoon i applied a semi-permanent blue black mousse dye to my hair, according to wax's slightly mis-translated instructions. she left out the part where you should use the whole container, or possibly two containers, if you have long, thick, or otherwise stubborn/plentiful hair.
the result is that if you know what you're looking for and squint, you might say my hair was a shade darker brown than it was this morning. but it's still got those warm golden sun-kissed bits all through, particularly at the hairline, as though i spent too many hours pushing grocery carts around a parking lot in texas this summer.
conclusion: fuck. next time, use permanent dye, in double quantities.
p.s.: saw resident evil in prep. to view the sequel this wednesday with the mece among others. amusing and ass-kicky. giant milla/michelle poster over headboard is so (or as wax's mom would say, 'såååååå') justified.
p.p.s.: wax injured her shoulders yesterday carrying our new microwave, but she won't let me massage them because she doesn't like massages--her skin is too delicate for the pressure. it pops up in itchy painful red blotches at the slightest hint.
