why the fuck to people start and join fanlistings?
'the fuck' = expression of ... EXTREME nature of confusion. please, explain it to me. i know what they are and their stated purpose, so that isn't what i'm looking for. but like, what makes the connection between 'i like this idea' and the fanlist-joining? it's not like a fanCLUB. the friendship of russel and paul is a great thing, but we're STILL all warmfuzzying about it separately, y'know?
ps read chevalier's the lady and the unicorn today. v nice.

Date: 29 Oct 2004 03:13 pm (UTC)I signed up for one early on in my fandom days, thinking it was an archive or something and would allow me access to pr0n! Sadly, not, and it is still one of the top things that come up if you Google my username. *kicks stupid fanlisting*
COMPLETELY POINTLESS SIGNUPPAGE.
