i just realized that i've become, like, dom saturated. i see so many icons of him that i am sick of them. i saw one today and it was the last straw. a little voice in my head said 'ew, good god, again?' and it was a very striking and well-made icon, too. i thought about it, and realized i'm starting to dislike him, too. in fic, for instance, but that might just be his fanon characterization. i didn't even know something like this could happen. it's so bizarre. i used to like him so much! has something like this ever happened to anyone else?

I used to really like the ._. and the >.> emoticon, but now they fill me with annoyance when I see people using them.

Date: 29 Oct 2004 09:01 pm (UTC)it's difficult for me to avoid oversaturation because that's often how i work: i get into something and OBSESS over it for days/weeks/months. i also tend to view this progression as natural, because of that.

As for Dom... I never liked him much in the first place. Bleh.
