ETA: OMG I JUST REMEMBERED WHAT ELSE I WANTED TO TELL YOU: They have torn down the old town hall and they're building a new apartment complex there, la-di-da. And they're calling the neighborhood South Homewood, or... SoHo. Which is so very, very precious (and even worse, we already have a "Hollywood" neighborhood and a "Mayfair" neighborhood, and the entire stinking city is named after one already in England. Anyway.) The complex is going to have its own little bank and post office and coffee shop and whatever. You know what the name of the complex is going to be? "Phat Flats." No, really. NO, REALLY. I just... I can't... I don't have enough "whatever" for this. from

in different news, apparently nobody bothered to tell ME that yesterday my dad's flaky sister and her asshole husband showed up to thanksgiving and brought--without warning--a big dog that doesn't like other dogs, when they KNEW that we have an elderly beagle! so now my poor perry is, according to my sister, having to be chained up or LOCKED up in HIS OWN HOUSE until they leave? excuse me! that's why we have a fucking dog run! their fucking dog was not invited to thanksgiving, the assholes! you don't just SHOW UP at someone's house with an ANIMAL when they haven't said you could! and if you DO, then YOUR dog and not the dog who LIVES THERE and is neither rough nor hard to get along with is GOING OUTSIDE, or TIED UP.
