when wax is at work it's easy to pretend lily is my kitty.  she's extraordinarily cuddly and affectionate, and can purr uninterrupted for hours on end.  and she's warm!  i think perry's jealous--i can hear his sub-vocal whine from the other room.  then again, he hates this kind of weather.  and he won't sit on my lap--it's not large enough.

My cat is way affectionate (and fat), but when he tries to eat my macaroni and cheese out of the pot on the stove (!!!), I have no patience with him. It is my tasty breakfast treat. Not his. (Do cats normally like macaroni and cheese? Mine does.)
