okay, so, the deal with this is that nicole, aka secretangel, asked for britney/christina smut six months ago, when she sent me a mix cd and i asked her what she'd like in return.  then britney started dating her skanky little babydaddy, and got married, and started buying chandeliers for her chihuahuas, and my mental character got so screwed up that i had no idea what to do.  so i couldn't get a grip on the character for a long time, but i'm constitutionally incapable of wholeheartedly writing a new story when an old one isn't finished.  so yesterday i finally finished it.

and the deal with the graphic is that i've wanted to make a regency!christina ever since those images of the red-brown curls came out last year.

i admit, i wasn't going to read this because i'm not into britney/christina, but then i went "academy for young ladies? i'm so up with that!" and read it.

and omg! it's fantastic! i just adore it. the language, the characterisations... it's wonderful.

wow. o.0 thanks. i guess after having it beat me up for six months i wasn't feeling very charitably towards it. maybe it's the period. i've always loved the period narrative voice.

I liked that section -- supremely confident Christina didn't notice until later that Brittany didn't like her. It just fit her. She didn't flaunt her talent or confidence, she just knew it was there and the rest of the school saw and admired her for it.

I also liked that part because Brittany explains *why* it appeared as though she didn't like Christina. Envy, not actual dislike.
