we watched some random episode from season three.

what is the prevailing wisdom on grissom's romantic interest? is it sara, as wax says, or is that a father/daughter thing? is it catherine, or is she basically unavailable? (there were some sparks in that one where they were dredging the sewers and ended up in the bomb-nut's house--sparks between her and warrick, i mean. but then warrick has chemistry with everybody female and some who aren't.)

also, nick really does call greg 'g,' and greg really is gaygaygay. and they really are the cutest. nick's wee accent and his cute lack-of-neck! greg's almost-lisp!

Gil's only on-screen dates (as it were) so far have been with Lady Heather, the dominatrix. Beyond that, there's no prevailing wisdom - just big piles of argument. Sara is interested in Gil, big time, but he turns her down.

well, there was the failed one with the forensic anthropologist chick and in the pilot a linedancer labtech was telling him why he screwed up.

Just to add to it.

I'm a firm believer in Grissom/Sara - the problem though, is that they both have little to no people skills. Grissom has kind of reached out in his own way (he sent her a plant in the second season!) but whenever Sara's tried to actually talk about it, he just sort of shuts down.

In 412, he says: "It's sad, isn't it, doc? Guys like us. A couple of middle-aged men who've let their work consume their lives. The only time we ever touch other people is when we're wearing our latex gloves. We wake up one day and realize that for fifty years, we haven't really lived at all. Then all of a sudden, we get a second chance. Somebody young and beautiful shows up, somebody we could care about. She offers us a new life with her, but we have a big decision to make, right? Because we have to risk everything we've worked for in order to have it. I couldn't do it. But you did." The camera pans back to show Sara watching him. Ajkdlajdklas.

Catherine Willows : I just realized that you and I have a very healthy relationship.
Gil Grissom : We do?
Catherine Willows : When we have a problem, I don't paint Greg in latex and stick a straw up his nose.
Gil Grissom : Good. He'd probably like it.

Just felt like sharing the quote.

not that I know of. Yet. They had a case where a guy went to a dominatrix (although she was a sub for that I think) for that when he had problems with his wife.

oh, another cute greg moment is him looking at the dna of a girl he went on a date with. Can't remember, but I think he said 'we will have beautiful children' or something.

Hi, random wanderer here.

I'm starting to think the CSI writers have no real plans concerning anything, because when I watch CSI I feel like some episodes are (or have hints of) Grissom/Sara and some are Grissom/Catherine.

But one thing is for certain. Greg/Nick is otp.
